Transmission network congestion control by DESS through interval computation and capacity optimization via hybrid DE‐PSO technique

Transmission congestion is one of major drawbacks deregulated power system. Congestion gradually violates the physical, operational and policy constraints present electricity market. management in huge system remains a challenging tough task, which can be achieved by introducing or more Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as Generation (DG), electric vehicles, modern micro grid, Storage Systems (ESSs) etc. over congested lines. Consequently, this work proposes hourly optimal allocation DG ‘24 hours’ time frame. Further, Rent used to determine sub locations for DG, whereas Differential Evolution Particle Swarm Optimization based hybrid optimization technique exploited identify size. In work, solar along with battery ESS considered act System ‘DESS. Subsequently, Interval computation method introduced consider intermittency DG. Battery ‘BESS’ integrated DGs due its excess energy storage capability during off-load period make it available at peak load conditions, thereby enhancing overall efficiency network. The irradiance temperature data Delhi, India taken into account mathematically model generated from Solar proposed methodology tested on IEEE 30-bus demand original data. From obtained results, has been established that results better solution compared their individual enforcement managing generation resources problem.
